Urban redevelopment of a brownfield site to provide a mixed-use scheme.

S+SA worked on a masterplan for a new civic quarter which incorporated retail, residential, leisure facilities and a new council headquarters. The scheme was intended to act as a catalyst for the revival of the town centre as well as provide an anchor tenant for the redevelopment of additional river frontage.

It's been a busy start to the year at S+SA! Our retail team has been hard at work delivering multiple Tesco Express new stores across the North of England and Scotland.

From initial concept to completion, we're involved across all RIBA stages of the process, collaborating closely with developers to ensure these stores meet Tesco's standards. Whether it's a new build site or a renovation of an existing building, we're committed to delivering excellence.

We're excited to continue supporting new schemes and eagerly anticipate the opening of even more stores as the year unfolds.

Yesterday, Will and David spent the morning at @leedsbeckettofficial School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing providing support to Architectural Technology students during their mid-term crits. A great opportunity to connect with them and contribute to their promising schemes.

Will and David look forward to returning in May to see the end-of-year presentations.

🌿 Contributing to the Skell Valley Project, the tree planting is part of a project to create a sustainable future for the Skell Valley and mitigate flood risks for Fountains Abbey.
