Mike has over 30 years experience in almost every sector of architectural practice, the second half of which he has specialised in the delivery of retail and logistical developments. During this time he has personally managed the development of over 10 million sq ft of retail floor space.
Mike is also the only remaining founder of the Tesco Centre of Excellence and as Tesco account holder, has been responsible for an ongoing relationship resulting in the construction of over 200 large retail projects for the blue chip company.
Mike has a keen eye for detail and works closely with his team, contractors and other consultants to ensure that S+SA Architects achieves a high level of co-ordination on all projects - regardless of size and complexity.
Recently completed non retail projects include a leisure centre, industrial warehousing and an innovative portable petrol station. Mike currently has projects shortlisted for 3 awards - the APEA Award, WAN Award and Graham Allen Award.
In his spare time Mike has been heavily involved in the transformation and development of his local cricket club - a satisfying role which has led to regional recognition and a nomination for BBC Sports Personality of the Year!
