“People living in the National Park tell us affordable housing is a key concern for them....It is wonderful therefore to see this development not only opened but occupied”.
- Val Dilcock, Chief Planning Officer, North York Moors National Park Authority.
These schemes were as a direct result of the success of the Danby and Castleton schemes. We worked closely with the National Park Authority and the local Parish Councils to ensure the schemes were sympathetic to the location and incorporated the views of the local communities.
The use of traditional materials to ensure long term visual continuity of the designs has meant that the developments have quickly become part of the local rural communities they serve.
