Blackmoor Complex Needs Care Home Now Open To Residents
Exemplar Healthcare appointed S+SA Architects to produce designs for a new build 30-bed nursing care development on a brownfield site in the Tile Cross area of Birmingham.
Blackmoor provides a welcoming environment where people can feel at home, continue to do the things that they enjoy, and remain closer to family, friends and loved ones.
The home possesses three ten-bed units, in a homely and supportive environment, which specialise in supporting adults living with complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities, brain injuries, spinal injuries and complex dementia. Each bedroom comes equipped with an ensuite wet room, while the complex will provide communal dining and living spaces as well as a cafe, sensory room and accessible garden.
We worked together with Exemplar to provide a building to help support their residents in living as fulfilled lives as possible.
