Greenacre Park is officially open!
It was great to join the official opening celebrations of Greenacre Park, a new 28-bed care home in Leicester.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Dr Susan Barton. Engaging with the staff and witnessing the residents settling into their new home was a real pleasure.
This transformative project involved the refurbishment and extension of a former care home. Working with Deeley Group for Exemplar Health Care the internal layout was reconfigured to optimise space utilisation for the residents’ comfort and convenience. The new home now comprises 28 spacious bedrooms complete with ensuite facilities, inviting communal dining and living areas, sensory bathrooms, a vibrant activities hub, a calming sensory room, and a sprawling accessible garden.
Well done to the team for their hard work and dedication in bringing this vision to life.
