S+SA acted as both planning consultant and architects for the 65,000 sq ft glass production factory for Safestyle UK in Barnsley.

Working closely with Safestyle UK and the main contractor, CM Harris, the project was completed in May 2017.

On Friday evening, some of our team had the pleasure of attending the Architecture Opening Night at the @lbu_lsa Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University End of Year Show.

We were truly impressed by the level of talent and creativity on display. The exhibition was professionally curated, with sustainability and thoughtful design taking centre stage throughout, and showcased a high calibre of work, reflecting the strong pipeline of architectural talent coming through in Leeds.

Spring’s off to a cracking start – we've had some gorgeous sunny days lately!

We were especially fortunate with the weather last week for our trip to the Yorkshire Dales to host some key clients. Couldn’t have asked for better conditions – great company, a few of the best pubs in the Dales, and a perfect afternoon spent in the beer gardens.

We feel incredibly lucky to live and work close to such a stunning part of the world… and celebrating our recent projects as a team in the amazing scenery was very rewarding.
