To design a new entrance atrium and works associated with the refurbishment and expansion of The Nottingham Building Society’s Head Office in central Nottingham

S+SA Architects were appointed to provide architectural design services from inception through to completion and in addition, act as Lead Consultant in delivering a single point of contact multi-disciplinary service for the design, planning and tender stages of the project.

• S+SA’s creative problem solving skills produced a solution which rationalised the layout of the new Head Office accommodation, combining the office’s existing and new buildings into one and facilitating inclusive access throughout through the incorporation of new build impressive entrance atrium space.
• S+SA acted as Lead Consultant, co-ordinating the combined efforts of the multi-disciplinary design team and provided the client with a single point of contact.
• The completed design provided the Nottingham Building Society with additional, flexible, fit-for-purpose office accommodation future-proofing the organisation’s presence in central Nottingham
